The week – which kicks off Thursday, July 9th and ends on Monday, July 13th – is promising to be truly vibrant with eight new labels added by the Federation of Haute Couture and Ready-to-Wear (FHCM) to the official event schedule. In the French capital, the men’s collections of the Spring-Summer 2021 season will be on display.

The pandemic has forced the European fashion federations to radically rethink the way fashion weeks are held, and the Parisian mens season is halfway between the three-day Haute Couture Week (ends July 8) and the four-day Milan Men’s Fashion Week (opens July 14).
New entrants to Paris Fashion Week Men’s include established brands such as Kolor, a progressive Japanese brand returning to the Parisian schedule, Isabel Marant, a French fashion star playing elegant rock and roll, and Ernest W Baker, a fashion house. whose homeland, despite the name, Portugal, the designers of the label are Reid Baker and Ines Amorim. Other recruits: Alled-Martinez, Cool TM and Egonlab are all French brands that will be accompanied by Americans in the rookie league – Kidsuper from New York and Reese Cooper from California.

The week kicks off at 10am Thursday morning with a show of Études, an experimental French label that has made its mark through original collaborations with Adieu (a French shoe brand), Porter (a Japanese accessories brand) and Wikipedia. In addition, Études drew inspiration from the work of the American artist Keith Haring. The fashion marathon will close (on Monday at half past seven in the evening) Lemaire.

Usually, there are one-hour breaks between shows at fashion weeks, but this time this time interval will be reduced to half an hour.
